Tana is the mother to three beautiful boys who are all ADHD and the middle guy is also Autistic. They started their journey through the neurodiverse world in approximately 2013.

As a member of the 60’s scoop, Tana has been seeking and learning her heritage. She’s grateful to be learning and sharing that knowledge with her kids. Music and story have been grounding for her and she finds it to be a great tool to connect with her kids as well. They are proud members of the Shishalh Nation located in Sechelt BC.

As Tana walked the path to find supports for her kids, she has found areas that need to be addressed. It has ignited a passion in her to not only help her own kids but also to make this journey easier for other parents.

Thanks to support from Facebook groups, she realized that she wasn’t alone but on that same note, she was saddened by how many others shared her challenges.

Tana has a background in the administrative and accounting field. Her office work started in 2011 after 15 years in the customer service industry. Through the years Tana volunteered her time to the local Rotary Clubs, The Christmas Haven and other local societies helping and hoping to make a positive impact in her community.

Tana is excited for the next steps she can take to help bring change to the kids in BC as well as to help other families navigate their paths. She plans to utilize her skills and experience to help the ADHD Advocacy Society of BC attain its goals as a growing society.
